DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Annual Race for the Chiefs is sponsored by the Mon
 acan HS baseball program. The 5K course will begin and end at the base
 ball field, winding through the Smoketree subdivision.  The kids 1 mi
 le costume fun run will be run at 10 am. \nThere will be water points
  along the route, post-race refreshments and awards for top finishers 
 in 5K and fun run, and there will be a costume contest. \nGuaranteed 
 tshirts to all registrants before October 18. Registration is $25 for 
 runners, fun run is free for kids under 13. \nPacket pick up will be 
 at Monacan HS October 29th from 430 - 6 pm.  Race day registration wi
 ll begin at 8am. \nRace registration flyer can be found at Monacansp
