Abby's Race for Hope 5K

Please join us for the 3rd annual Abby's Race for Hope 5K run/walk. Runner, walker, stroller and wheelchair friendly! This event held in scenic Bryan Park is under the shade of trees in the forest trails.  The race is being held to increase public awareness of congenital cytomegalovirus (cCMV), the most common virus transmitted from mother to unborn child that is preventable and estimated by the CDC to infect 1 in 150 children, yet one that few people have ever heard of.  The race will also raise funds for specialized therapy services and other care needs not covered by insurance for Abigail Van Meter, a 5 year old girl with cereral palsy as a result of the virus. Please come!
