Annual Kit Callahan's Miracle Mile

The 6th Annual Kit Callahan's Miracle Mile, 10K Run/Walk, to be held on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at George Mason University. Last year, over 350 individuals came out to support and celebrate the success stories of survivors of brain injuries and to help raise money for Brain Injury Services. Our goal this year is to make this event one of the premier races in Northern Virginia and to expand our Brain Injury Awareness Fair to educate individuals of all ages. In addition, we are adding a Fun Run for our younger participants!

Pre-registration:

Cost is $25 per individual; $10 for survivors/veterans. Kids under the age of 10 run/walk for FREE. After we receive your registration, directions will be emailed to you along with the pre-event race packet pick-up dates.

Day-of registration:

Participants can register the day of the event. However, the cost will be $30 per individual; $15 for survivors/veterans. Kids under the age of 10 run/walk for FREE.

On-site registration available starting at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 27!


ChronoTrack timing system will be used to score the 10K Race. This event will be timed by Capital Running Company and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers. If you have any questions or comments please contact Karen M. Luffred at kluffred@braininjurysvcs.org or 703-451-8881 ext 223.

Raise $100 in donations and your registration fee is waived. The top three fundraisers will be recognized at the event and will receive a unique prize. Donation forms must be received by Monday, September 21st in order to be entered into the contest.
