Capitol 10M

This new Richmond Road Runners Club Championship race will be run on the streets of Richmond. The race is designed for runners. The course is a single loop through Richmond streets. It starts and ends at the State Capitol (9th and Grace Streets). The course goes west on Grace Street, running through Byrd Park and across the Nickel Bridge. The course continues on Forest Hill to the Lee Bridge and then up Second Street to Byrd Street finishing on Bank Street at the foot of the Capitol. The race will feature chip timing and awards four deep in five year age groups. The course will be USATF certified.

I really enjoyed the race, the course, the people! Toughest part: that climb at the end! but it felt great to run 10 miles for the first time!!!
