This race is a Carytown tradition. In its sixth year, it is again being held in front of the Cary Court Shopping Center. The course is relatively flat and features scenic Cary Street and Grove Avenue. This is one of RRRC’s largest races and is a signature event for the club. The course record holders are Cary Chaffe in 32:18 and Maria Elena Calle in 36:20.

Kid's Run
There is a free kid's 1/2 mile run starting at 7:30 am. All children must register to participate. All registered runners will receive a medal.
The Course
The course starts and ends at Cary Court in Carytown and is run mostly on Cary Street and Grove Avenue. The course is flat and USA Track and Field certified. There will be mile markers at each mile.
Entry Fees
The fee for the race is $20. Richmond Road Runners Club members who register before May 1st will receive a $5 discount. The price after May 1st is $25. Register early and save money. There will be no day of race registration.
Entry Rules and Confirmation
Entry fees are non-refundable and entries are non-transferable, no exceptions. Do not mail entry forms after May 8. Instead sign-up online though 11:59 p.m. on May 12. The race is limited to the first 2000 participants. Registration will be closed when capacity is reached. No Race Day Registration
Race Timing and Results
The race will be chip timed by Kale Running using disposable. Results will be posted after completion of the race and online at www.rrrc.org.
T-Shirts
T- shirts are guaranteed to all runners who register on or before May 1st. T-shirts, however, must be picked up during packet pickup or on race day. None will be mailed.
Water and Refreshments
Diamond Springs Water will be available at about 2 and 4.5 miles and at the finish line. Refreshments will be available at Cary Court after the race.
Awards
The awards presentation will start at 9:30 at Cary Court. The top three males and females will receive running shoes compliments of the Road Runner Running Store. First male and female masters and Clydesdale and Athena will receive gift certificates. Top three five-year age group males and females will receive ribbons.
Packet Pick-up
Race packets may be picked up on Friday May 14th from 12 to 5:30 and on Saturday, May 15th from 10 to 4 at the Road Runner Running Store at 3202 West Cary Street. You may pick up a packet for another runner provided you have a copy of their photo id or email race confirmation. Race packets may be picked up on Sunday from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Cary Court.

Parking
Parking is available in the decks north of Cary St. and in the Ukrop’s lot at Thompson and Cary. Please do not park in front of Elwood Thompson’s. They will tow you!
