Richmond SPCA 10th Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run

Join us at the Richmond SPCA on Saturday, March 24, 2012 for the Tenth Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run.  The event will begin with a 5K Run at 9:30 a.m., followed by the Dog Jog at 11 a.m. The 5K race, for humans only, is a competitive flat loop course timed by the RRRC. The Dog Jog is a 1-mile fun course for pet owners, including many Richmond SPCA alumni eager to return to the Robins-Starr Humane Center, to walk and jog in support of pets still awaiting their forever homes.  Bring your dog and a pair of running shoes for this event benefitting homeless pets in the care of the Richmond SPCA.  Whether you are running or cheering on the athletes, make sure to check out the kids activities, canine tricks demonstrations, music, food and more.  To learn more about the race or to sign up (registration begins late summer 2011), visit http://www.richmondspca.org/race.
