SUMMARY:Richmond SPCA Dog Jog and 5K Run
DESCRIPTION:The Dog Jog and 5K Run is an annual fundraiser for the Ric
 hmond SPCA, presented by Car Pool Car Wash & Detail.\n\nAwards will be
  presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. The top
  three males and females in each age group will receive a ribbon, and 
 there will also be prizes awarded to top fundraisers (fundraising is n
 ot required to participate). Registration is $20 for the 5K Run throug
 h March 6, when the fee increases to $30. Registration fee increases a
 gain on March 18, to $40.\n\nThe event will feature a timed, competiti
 ve 5K Run (9:30 a.m.), a fun, walker- and pet-friendly 1-mile Dog Jog 
 (11 a.m.), an awards ceremony, and the Holiday Barn Pet Resorts Vendor
  Fair, featuring activities for kids and pets, music, a walk-up microc
 hip clinic ($20), and lots of cool vendors (9 a.m. to 1 p.m.). Our ado
 ption center and Lora Robins Gift Shop will also be open.\n\nAll event
 s are pet friendly except for the 5K Run, which is for people only. Pa
 rticipants may register individually or as part of a team, and have th
 e option of raising donations to help support the pets cared for by th
 e Richmond SPCA. You do not have to be a registered participant to att
 end the vendor fair or to visit our center on the day of the event. Al
 l activities take place at the Richmond SPCA's Robins-Starr Humane Cen
 ter, located at 2519 Hermitage Road in Richmond, Virginia. We hope to
