Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
RRRC is starting a running program for new runners - people just getting started or re-started with running. This program will start in April 2015 and last 8 weeks. The first run is a mile +/- (and if you need to start as a walk/run, that's OK). At the end of the 8-week program, participants will have the option to complete a local 5K race!
Group will meet Tuesday nights beginning April 7, 2015 at 6PM at Bryan Park. Exact meeting place will be sent via email to runners in advance of April 7. Runners will receive an 8-week training plan which includes the Tuesday group runs and other runs and walks during the week to be done on your own. We may have a Saturday AM group run as well depending on runner interest. Water will be provided at all group runs.
If you've wanted to start or re-start running, come on out and join us. All paces are welcome. If you've never run before - that's OK. Our coaches are ready to work with all runners regardless of pace.
