Event Description

Run to the River offers fun and challenging 8K race/walk and a 1-mile fun run/walk to benefit the Neighborhood Resource Center (NRC). Runners will dash and walkers will stride through the historic streets of Richmond's Church Hill and Fulton neighborhoods, along the James River, and over three hills (Powhatan, Potomac and Libby).

Whether you're a serious runner preparing for the Richmond marathon or half marathon in November or a casual walker looking to enjoy a beautiful autumn morning, join us for a fun event that's raising money for a great cause—the Neighborhood Resource Center! After the races and walk/run, enjoy food, a health fair, live music and free massages in the finish line at Stone Brewing.
