Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
This is the 29th annual running of this race and the first year for chip timing. Each year RRRC collects toys for the Marines Toys for Tots program for local children. RRRC Members bring a toy valued at $10 or pay a race fee of $10. Non-Members bring a toy valued at $15 or pay a race fee of $15. You can also do both. You can bring a toy and register to run. For additional monetary donations, a jar will be provided and the entire contents will be donated to the Toys for Tots program. You can walk or run. You just have to come to have fun! All toys will be donated to the Toys for Tots program.
Onsite registration opens at 11:00 a.m. Free kids runs starting at 12:15 p.m. 5K starts at 1 p.m.
The race will be run at The Shoppes at Innsbrook. The 5K is an out-and-back flat course through the Innsbrook community. The kids runs will be out and back on the last portion of the 5K course. The course is measured to US Track and Field standards.
There will be a series of free kids runs starting at 12:15 with a 1/4 mile for 5 and under and 1/2 mile for ages 6-8. All finishers will receive a small prize. Kids runs are free but the children must be registered.
The top three male and females in the race will receive ribbons. Top three five-year age group male and female winners will receive ribbons.
This is a Richmond Road Runners Club Grand Prix race.
Race Timing and Results
The race will be chip timed by Mettle and Richmond Road Runners Club. Results will be posted here.
The entry fee for RRRC Members is $10 or one new toy valued at $10 or more for the 5K. Non-RRRC members entry fee is $15 or one new toy valued at $15 or more. The kids run is free but your welcome to donate a toy or make a monetary donation. There is no mail-in registration for this race. Sign up at the online link ONLY. The Richmond Road Runners Club is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected applications. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Register online to 11:59 pm on December 11th. Register on the day of the race starting at 11 am.
Packet Pick up Saturday 12/14/ 13 at ACAC New West End location (2201 Old Brick Rd Glen Allen ) from Noon to 3PM and on Raced Day 12/15/13 onsite from 11AM to 12:45PM. Pick up your packet at ACAC and receive a FREE one day guest pass.
Water will be provided at about 1.5 miles. Refreshments will be available after the race.
