Each year RR RC collects toys for children. Bring a toy valued at $10 OR pay a race fee of $10. You can walk or run. You just have to come to have fun! R egiostration opens at 11:00. Free Kid's runs starting at 12:15. 5K sta rts at 1 pm.\nRegister Online (You can register online and mail in a c heck or bring a toy to the race)\nMail in an application\nJoin RRRC\nV olunteer to help at this club race\nSee who is running\n\n\nThe Course : The race will be run at The Shoppes at Innsbrook. The 5K is out and back flat course through the Innsbrook community. The children's runs will be out and back on the last portion of the 5K course. The course is measured to US Track and Field standards.\n\nChildren's Runs: There will be a series of FREE children's runs starting at 12:15 with a 1/4 mile for 5 and under and 1/2 mile for ages 6-8. All finishers receive a candy cane. Children's runs are free but the children must be regis tered.\n\nAwards: The top three male and females in the race will rece ive award plaques. Top three five-year age group male and female winne rs will receive ribbons.\n\nTop Clydesdale (male over 200 lb) and Athe na (female over 150 lb) will receive an award. Awards will be presente d after the completion of the race.\n\n\nGrand Prix: This is a Richmon d Road Runners Club Grand Prix Race. Each year the club runs a series of races and members collect points by placing or volunteering at the events. At the end of the year the male and female winners are announc ed as the Grand Prix Champions at the club's annual banquet.\n\nRace T iming and Results: The race will be computer timed by the Richmond Roa d Runners Club. Results will be posted after completion of the race on line at www.rrrc.org.\n\nRegistration: The entry fee is one new toy va lued at $10 or more for the 5K. You can register online and pay a $10 fee or agree that you will bring a toy to the race (there is no charge for doing it online and it is faster than waiting in line on registra tion day!). Fees for the children's runs are optional. All mailed in p re-registrations must be postmarked by December 8th. The Richmond Road Runners Club is not responsible for lost, late, or misdirected applic ations. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable.\n\nRegister O nline up to 11:59 pm on December 9th.\nRegister on the day of the race starting at 11 am.\n\nRace Number Pick-up: Race numbers may be picked up starting at 11 am on Sunday, December 13th.\n\n\nDirections: The S hoppes at Innsbrook are located at the intersection of West Broad Stre et and Cox Road in the West End.\n\nWater Stops: Water will be provide d by Diamond Springs at about 1.5 miles.
