Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
This RRRC Grand Prix race is run every Thanksgiving morning from the University of Richmond. The race is a perennial favorite and sells out at its limit of 1500 participants. There is a free kids run at 8:30. All children must register to run.

The 10K course loops around the campus of the University of Richmond. The course is hilly and challenging. The race course is mostly on streets but there is about 1/2 mile on a trail by the lake. New course records are 32:18 set by Cary Chaffee in 2008 and Casey Smith 36:52 in 2006.
All 10K runners will receive a t-shirt. $75, $50, and $35 gift certificates to the first, second and third place male and female. $50 to the top masters male and female.
Race Timing and Results
The race will be computer timed by Kale Running. Results will be posted after completion of the race.
Online registration is available until November 22 or until the race limit of 1500 is reached.
The race will reach capacity before race day. No day of race registration.

Race packets may be picked up on Wednesday, November 24 from 4-7 pm at the University of Richmond Tyler Haynes Commons student center (next to the lake). Packet pick-up on the day of the race will open at 7:30 a.m.
Parking is available at the Robins Center on College Road.
Race photos will be provided by Total Photography.
Water will be provided by Diamond Springs and water stops will be at about every 2 miles. Refreshments will be available after each race.
Bring Food to the Race
We will be collecting peanut butter and cans of tuna for the Central Virgina Food Bank at packet pick up and at the race. Please bring some to help those less fortunate.
