The race is a perennial favorite an d sells out at its limit of 1500 participants. There is a free kids ru n at 8:30. All children must register to run.\nNot running? Volunteer! \n \nThe Course The 10K course loops around the campus of the Univer sity of Richmond. The course is hilly and challenging. The race course is mostly on streets but there is about 1/2 mile on a trail by the la ke. New course records are 32:18 set by Cary Chaffee in 2008 and Casey Smith 36:52 in 2006. Awards All 10K runners will receive a t-shirt. $75, $50, and $35 gift certificates to the first, second and third pla ce male and female. $50 to the top masters male and female. Race Timi ng and Results The race will be computer timed by Kale Running. Result s will be posted after completion of the race. Registration Online re gistration is available until November 22 or until the race limit of 1 500 is reached.\nThe race will reach capacity before race day. No day of race registration. Registration Confirmation Race Fees $20 RRRC M embers $25 Non-members Packet Pick-Up Race packets may be picked up on Wednesday, November 24 from 4-7 pm at the University of Richmond Ty ler Haynes Commons student center (next to the lake). Packet pick-up o n the day of the race will open at 7:30 a.m. Parking Parking is avail able at the Robins Center on College Road. Race Photos Race photos wi ll be provided by Total Photography. Water Stops Water will be provid ed by Diamond Springs and water stops will be at about every 2 miles. Refreshments will be available after each race. Bring Food to the Rac e We will be collecting peanut butter and cans of tuna for the Central Virgina Food Bank at packet pick up and at the race.
