Washington Henry " Heart of the Community" 5k and 1 Mile Heart Hop

Saturday March 3 is a race date that you won't want to miss as we once again run the Washington Henry " Heart of the Community" 5k and 1 Mile Heart Hop.

This is a family friendly event that celebrates our community and will be run on a great scenic course that offers both challenge and the beauty of the great outdoors in Early Spring.

Our Mission
Washington Henry Elementary School wants to promote good health and exercise in our students, staff and community through sponsoring a 5K run/walk. Washington Henry believes that good health and exercising go hand in hand to increase academic performance.

About the Course and Race Day Information
The course will start and finish at Washington Henry Elementary School. Runners will proceed down Dell Ray Dr. to Lansdowne Rd. to cross over Atlee Rd. and then weave through Holly Ridge Subdivision. Runners will then come back across Atlee Rd. to Mann Dr. and finish at Washington Henry.

1-mile Heart Hop 8:30 am
5K run/walk 9:00 am

T-Shirt Information
Participants who register by February 15 will receive an event t-shirt.

Packet Pick-up and Walk-up Registration info

Packet Pick-up and walk-up registration will be held at Washington Henry Elementary School from 2:30 PM - 6:30 PM on Friday, March 2 and on raceday starting at 730 am.

Raffle
Raffle tickets will be for sale before the race. Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for
$20. Many different items will be up for grabs.
