Good run Team USA!

Cul-de-Sac #2, 7pm.....hydrate, hydrate, hydrate

 

Tuesday:

The NFL lockout needs to end!  I can't imagine the fall without NFL football.

 

Wednesday:

Detention Run, 6pm 

 

Thursday:

Rivah Run, 6am

Bike Ride, 6pm

 

Friday:

BPG Social Hour!

Q BBQ, 2077 Walmart Way, Midlothian, 6pm.  RSVPs are a must to guarantee seating with the group.  RSVP to I-Fred.  Thanks I-Fred for setting this up.

 

Saturday:

Group Runs, 6:30am

 

Sunday:

Long Run, TBA

Bike Ride, maybe not....

Rockett's Landing Triathlon & Duathlon - It's the Mid-Atlantic Championship for USA Tri.  Good luck to those who will be competing.  Let's go BPG!

Tues AM Ride Report: On a punchy Johnny Mac designed route, iFred riding like Petacchi had his arse thoroughly kicked by Cav (Rachel) Greipel (Johnny Mac) and Farrar (the Colonel).  At the finish I thought I heard a spectator scream "all must suffer!"

Wednesday Night Detention Run: 6pm Westmoreland/Grove. 6 miles. All are welcomed to come! I'm hoping to see some smiling faces despite the heat! Come on out and run!!!

Thursday Rivah Run: 6 a.m. Stratford Hills Shopping Center. Five, six, and seven mile options. Roads, trails, and then mostly roads... All Wednesday Night Detention Runners receive a special award for coming out less than 12 hours later! All are invited!

Where in the Stratford Hills Shopping Center do you meet at.  I missed the Detention Run today because I gave blood, but I plan to be there in the morning.

Stratford Hills Shopping Center (Hathaway Rd & Forest Hill Ave) isn't the same as The Shops at Stratford Hills (where Martin's and Target are). I made that mistake the first time. See ya in the morning.

Sweaty Libbie Loop Report. Bertis, Smarty, Erin, Edwin, Jersey Sara, DE3, Angel, Angela, Kim Rex, Greg, Johnny, Perry Como, 2.0 and who else. I know I saw some new faces this morning. Hot as Hell and very humid but everyone finished (thanks Johnny). I sweaty time was had by all. Good luck to Erin as she heads off to Asheville  NC. We'll miss you. Good luck to Jersey Sara as She tears up the Tri at Rockets Landing tomorrow.

Anne and I hit the road a little early to try and get some of our miles in before the sun started beating down.  We did a loop down to the Omni and back.  Geez it was hot.  Good to see you guys back at the park.

It was another good run despite the heat. Was it 9 miles as you thought? See you Tuesday @6:30am-Anne :-)
