Wednesday Night Detention Run: 6pm Westmoreland/Grove. 6 mile route. Water stop at the hospital at about 3.5 miles. Michael will be leading the run this week. I'll be in SF for the half marathon, running in mid 60 degree weather!! I'll try to send some cooler weather to you guys! Have a great run!!

Detention Run Report: relatively mild weather and a relatively mild turnout.  The temps were in the 80's, which felt great after this past week.  Running tonight were Rod, Levi, Tyler, Angela, Karen, Ralph, Matt and Edwin. Jessica sort of followed the route, but cut it a little short.  Nice Run!  Thanks for the route Sara.
I may not be there, but I'm told that there WILL be a Sunday run at 7:00 am.  Lately the group has been running between 7-10 miles. If you need/want more miles, come early, put in a few miles and then meet up with the group at 7:00.

Thank you Karen and Running Goddess for your posts. Sunday BPG run (not as long as in the past) is a staple. Once marathon season gets under way,  and cooler weather becomes the norm, I believe we will have a bigger group. Now we have at least 5 to 8 regular BPG members coming out. Next week we could revive the Northside route (7 to 10 mile options).

Bert - what pace do you all do Sundays?  I have to miss the Sat. run (my kids have to be at the pool at 6 am for swim team champs) so I'll need to do 10 on Sunday.

It depends on who shows up Colleen. Last Sunday we ran between 9:00 and 9:30 pace. It was hot and a recovery day for all. If fast people show up, I try to keep up. We usually pick a spot to run to and may split up depending on pace, then regroup. So, I don't see any reason why you would have a problem with the pace. Hope to see you there!

I'll try, but if it is another hot, humid morning I may hit the road earlier to beat some of the heat.
I need to run on Sunday too as I am signed up to work at the Pony Pasture tomorrow morning. Colleen-I would love to run with you on Sunday and 5:45 or 6am starting time sounds good. For 10+, I run more of a 9.5+ pace as you know. The heat really slows me down so not 100% sure of the pace. If anyone else wants to join us earlier that would be great. :-) Anne
Who's running or volunteering at the Pony Pasture? Libbie Loop Saturday morning at 0630 or earlier to beat the heat. Cooler in usual place. Good Luck to Sara in San Fran. Bring back some cool weather.
I'm running Pony Pasture - gotta get in my Grand Prix points.
I am as well and then doing a 15 to 20 miles ride from PP heading out to Old Gun.  Company welcome!
I'm running Pony Pasture as well.
