Richmond Road Runners

Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

National Trails Day is tomorrow, June 2!!! Please come out and run the trails with us!!! The Monthly Trail Run takes place at 8AM starting from the gravel parking area on Pump House Drive (immediately behind the Boulevard Bridge toll plaza). The 7'ish mile run will follow some configuration he James River trail system (Buttermilk, Forest Hill Park, Belle Isle, NorthBank).

It's OK if you have little or no trail running experience. You will be able to do this easy-paced trail run if you can comfortably run 7-8 road miles at a 10-minute per mile pace or better. There is NO NEED for trail shoes on these well-established trails. Experienced trail runners will be there to run with you!

Participants should carry fluid if they want to drink, as there is only one water fountain along the route, w/ no guarantee that it will be operational. There are port-a-potties at 3-4 locations along the course.

As this is a trail run, it is suggested that participants bring some sort of post-run food and/or beverage for recovery, to share and to complete the trail running experience! Feel The Love!!!
