Cul-de-sac 5K Series
less than one week until the Cul-de-sac series starts. We have had fantastic turn-outs for the last several years. Do yourself and us a favor and please preregister for this race!!! It will save you time on Monday nights before the race and will make our computer person much happier and less stressed!

To all participants,
We are expecting a fairly large turnout, as Sean eluded to above. Please arrive early (carpool if possible), so we can get everyone registered and to the starting line on time. We will have five porta-johns to ensure no delays. Parking will be at a premium at the school. When using the streets to park, do do not park on the sides by the school, or on the course. There is plenty of street parking across the streets from the school. The police will direct all late comers. One last key factor to ensuring we can continue to use this course, is to please run in single file along the two main roads-Old Wyndham Drive and Wyndham Lake Drive. We will have five Police officers directing the runners. Traffic is open to local residence, so please be cautious.
I would like to thank everyone who has helped make this event successful for the 10 years we've been running it. Have fun and be safe.

Hi Rodney,
We do not encourage strollers, but if you want to and as long as you stay on the sidewalks on the two main roads, and the Police do not remove you from the roads, we're OK. Again, two of the main roads do have traffic (35MPH), so strollers can present traffic issues. Please be careful.

I found this thread from last year and thought it would suffice once again for this year's series-2012. If we can have as many folks pre-register (please) before Monday's run, it will make it easier on participants, and volunteers. For those of you concerned, we will have two water stops on the course, plus wet towels at the end of the shoot, and an additional water table in the bus circle. I know we are low on volunteers at the moment, but I'm confident we'll be fine.
No need to worry about the heat next week and getting adjusted to it. Can it possibly get any hotter?

Online registration for Week 1 (tonight) and the 3 race series is now CLOSED! You can register tonight beginning at 5:30. If you plan to do so, come closer to 5:30 than 7!
Online registration for the final 2 weeks is still available.

Registration for Monday's Week 3 race will close about noon on Monday. Walkup registration will be available at the race beginning at 5:30PM.
