I want to also put out my thanks to all the RRRC volunteers. We had over 60 sign up online, many of them first time volunteers or first time for specific tasks such as race marshals. I know we had additional volunteers show up on race day. The online signup for Frostbite let the volunteers pick one of the tasks. We had volunteers sign up for pre race and race day packet pickup and both those tasks were covered better than ever. We also had volunteers sign up for water stops and race marshals. Most of those who signed up for general race day duties were contacted and assigned before race day and all that signed up online got email reminders to be there on race day. We will continue to use the online volunteer sign up and we will try out the specific task sign up on future RRRC races, such as Sweetheart. Thanks again to the volunteers who made Frostbite run very smoothly despite a 25% increase in runners. We would like to see lots of you at again at Sweetheart, either as a volunteer or as a runner.
