Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

I live in the museum district and I'm looking for a new general practitioner.  The Dr. I currently use is of another generation and looks at me strangely when I tell him how much I exercise, that I'm a vegetarian, and every now and then have aches and pains.  His advice is usually to stop exercising so much and eat more meat!!!  Anyone have any advice on a good general practitioner who has experience as a runner or working with runners?  I'd prefer someone close to the City.  Thanks!!!

Dr. Bret Law is a great doctor. Actually all of the doctors at Altius Family and Sports Medicine are great. They are in the West End but trust me, it is worth the drive.
Thanks Stacy. I'll check them out.
I second Altius. I see Matt Marchal. He's actually big into cycling, but doesn't hold it against me that I'm a runner.
Andrew Schutrumpf, M.D., West End Internal Medicine, 7001 Forest Ave., Suite 2500 (in the Bon Secours Heart Institue building at Glenside/Forest). 282-7857. He's a good guy and a runner.
Kenneth Zelenak, runner, early to mid 30s, cool guy.
