Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
Marine Corps Marathon
Anyone planning on doing the Marine Corps Marathon this year? I am doing the Run To Register in March, which will allow me the option of signing up for the Marathon in October. It will be my first marathon.

Lots of people run MCM from the Richmond area. The best way to meet them and especially as it will be your first marathon, you should consider joining the Sportsbackes Marathon Training Team (MTT). While MTT's main objective is to get people to the starting line of the Richmond Marathon, many on the team run other races, including MCM. I believe MTT starts in June and last year had around 900 runners. For more information: www.sportsbackers.org
