Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

Despite three bands of rain---the race went on.  Happy to volunteer and watch some great effort on the part of all runners.  Having voluntered last year---this was a much better venue--and having the road closed to traffic allowed the competiors to run without the overarching fear of becoming a hood ornament on a BMW.  As someone told me tonight---this is a really good club--so if you ran, directed, volunteered, or just sat on your butt---be proud of this organization and what it does for all levels in the Richmond Area.

Fabulous course and lovely weather! Just rain, no lightning, and the exciting element of unpredicability! Thanks to Karl and all the volunteers!
As a citizen of the great County of Goochland, I am going to send a thank you note to the Sheriff for their work. :-)
Karl,

Just wanted to repeat what so many have said already ...... Great job ! Thanks to you and all that helped you get it together, it was so much fun . I thoroughly enjoyed the run (great course), the awards , and random prizes, not to mention the ice cream.

I do not want to forget to thank all the volunteers that showed up on such a wet night. They were great !

Looking forward to running it next year.
One more comment I forgot to mention. We had THREE runners over 75 years old complete this race. Congratulations to Tom Humphrey, Ron Henry and a gentleman who happened to be visiting from California and saw the race advertised.
The West Creek Parkway course was ideal. Wish all RRRC races could be run there.
I'm recommending that venue to my Sunday morning running group.

I had a great race and the event was a lot of fun. Thanks to all the volunteers! I would love to have a Moonlight 4k logo technical shirt...
No please not another cheap technical shirt...if you do decide to do a shirt (and it is not necessary), please consider a nice cotton shirt we would be proud to display.

Karl - dispite the rain the race went off with out a hitch. Loved it (even the post rain steam bath) and will continue to support the race every year.
How about a nice technical shirt? I woudn't mind a cotton t-shirt however- I just love that logo.
What is the next natural leap from Technical Shirts, Polos? Now that would be a nice thing to wear. A polo shirt with the race logo could be worn to the office! Come to think, do we have one with the Club logo? Gotta go check the store.
I agree! It was a great race! I actually debated about whether or not I wanted to get off my couch to go out and run it but am so glad I did! Not only was it a fun race, but I ended up winning the Garmin! What a thrill! Thank you to everyone who made this race possible, and THANK YOU for the awesome Garmin!!!
