Reedy Creek and Pony Pasture area River cleanup this Saturday, June 9th at 9:00am

For all of you looking forward to Pony Pasture 5k or who enjoyed the Stratford Hills 10k, or who run trails regularly, think about giving back to the James River Park this weekend by picking up some trash.  Clean up day sponsored by JROC, James River Outdoor Coalition.  Bring gloves and trash bags will be provided.   They also need people with boats who will paddle out to rocks to pick up trash.   So go for an early run and then pick up a little trash.  Feel free to wear a bathing suit and jump in the river to cool off when you're done.  ( Note, over 5ft lifevests are required)
