RRRC TURKEY TROT 10k, Thu, Nov 24, volunteer registration is just about closed. Still need help with the Kids Run early. Packet pick up, race marshals & water stops are filled.

We can use a few more volunteers for the Kids Run Turkey Trot.  7:00 for registration.  Done before 9am and start of 10k.

  Volunteer registration has been set up for the next RRRC races after Turkey Trot.

 

WE NEED A FEW MORE FOR VOLUNTEERS FOR THE TURKEY TROT KIDS RUN.  This run starts at 8:30 and volunteers are done before the 10k race starts.

Start thinking about helping at Turkey Trot.  We need 75-100 volunteers for this race.  Most of the registration slots are filling up.  Race marshals are our biggest need.

I'm working at the Thanksgiving Day early morning packet pick-up. Hope the weather for this will be crisp and sunny on the beautiful UR campus! It is a great race tradition for the University of Richmond to host this race.

Now that the marathon, half and 8k are over there is more time to think about helping out you club put on the races that are coming up.  We have a great start on Turkey Trot volunteers but of course we still need more.  Race marshals are the most important but we need help just about everywhere. 

I don't have official word, but I assume Turkey Trot is closed.  You can still come out, help out on the course, and cheer the 1500 runners on.  Volunteer now.

Race marshals numbers are getting closer.  Water stops need several.  The kids run needs several and those volunteers are done before the 10k race starts.

Pete,

The link to volunteer seems to be broken.  My wife, daughter and I would all like to volunteer.  Looking at the BPG water stop first and foremost, but could go where ever you need us most.  We are all RRRC members.  Daughter is 15 and she and I did the finish line last year.  I would like to at least pair her up with one of us.

My wife and I are helping with the Kids race and I just registered up.  It seems to be working.  There are still slots left for BPG water stop.  Give it another try and let me know.  I like to have you registered because we will try to get shirts out to the water stop volunteers.

Yes, usually the water stops are good places for kids as they are fun and busy.
