Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

Sweating so much you feel like you had a really Great, hard workout of ten+ miles even if you only ran 2 or 3 miles!

Plus, the nice tan from the sun if you do a lunchtime run, makes it look like you spent a few days at the beach!

And the cold milkshake and ice water afterwards tastes extra delish!

That's true, but now I'm going to have to spend some extra time out in the sun to get rid of these wide tan lines on my shoulders that I didn't think about! ;p
Amber,
You are sunshine! Wishing you fantastic summer running as terrific as you are!
I have a very beautiful friend who wants to run tonight--can anyone be her volunteers to run alongside her with fans and water mist spray! :)
She is the nicest and joy, so it would be a happiness run! I will pass your name to her if you would do it!
I unfortunately cannot. I'm recovering from a back strain and am unable to run for a little while (hopefully I'll be able to get back into it next week). =(

You are such a sweet person, Eileen! I see your posts all the time and you're always so cheerful! =D
Team Wednesday Night has a run at 6:30 Eileen.
Last week we had about 40 people.
Check out the MTT Message Board for the route.

Sean and Amber,
You are the nicest!!
Amber, you are the sweet and cheerful person, and all my caring thoughts your way for your back to heal. Take care and hope you feel better soon.

Sean, you are the kindest about the Wed. night run!
The friend of mine who is running tonight is the wonderful Renee Taylor, and we were kidding how nice it would be to have fans and water mist spray to cool off--what a great run that would be!!
If any of your friends would like to volunteer, she is fun, witty, cheerful, brilliant, very beautiful, sunshine person!
I did run already today, but I would love to sometimes join you in the near future if this is okay! Thank you so much, and I would love it!
Sean, you are the nicest! And I love 3-5 miles distances the Best!
See you soon!
If you and your friend wish to receive our weekly email with the route and other information, please send an email to TWN.FAN.RUN@GMAIL.COM and I will get you added.

Thanks
Sean,
You are the Best! Thank you so much for your kindness--I will do that right now! Your group is the luckiest to have you! You are sunshine and joy!
Thank you very much! You are so sweet! =)
I hear you (and relate) Eileen. I actually like all this heat stuff for the reasons you stated plus my joints are more receptive to 90-degrees than 20-degrees! Like to run at Huguenot Park (around the soccer fields – shirt off) at lunch time so as to work on the tan and a good hard sweat! Not to mention, an appreciation for the vitality of the Sun!! In short duration, IT is very therapeutic and beneficial!
Patrick,
Yes! I love that cleansing feeling of sweating!
And it makes me feel like I had an extra hard workout!
I am so glad you are enjoying the lovely Huguenot Park! I love that place!
The sun is Life!
Wishing you fantastic summer running! You are doing Great, Patrick!
The best part of running in this heat doesn't come until the fall. How much easier a 10 mile run will be in 65 degree weather!
