Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

This week's Tuesday Nite Workout will be intervals on the St. Christopher's track. This training modality allows runners to focus on developing leg turnover, running form and speed. All levels of runners are welcomes out, as the group members are all working independently, but on the same track. This is a great way to run in the company of others who are slower, faster, or run at the same pace as you!

To get there: Take Maple Ave south from Patterson (at Pizza Hut), then the 2nd right into the little parking lot. Walk up to the track/football field.

We meet at the Ct. Chris' track at 5:30pm, do a warm-up "jog' thru the neighborhood, then return to the track for the workout. This week's suggestion: All 800's (2 laps on the track)!!!

2 sets of 800/recovery/800/recovery/800/recovery & water
Than one final 800 (best of the nite!)

Questions? Please ask. But please don't ask about how the USA did in comparison to Great Britian in the Olympic medal count, unless you care to see Sir Nigel's feathers ruffled a bit...
