Richmond Road Runners

Supporting running in the metro Richmond area

This week's Tuesday Nite Workout will be MCV Hill Repeats. As always, we'll meet at the Gateway Building at Marshall and 12th (see attached) to begin running at 5:32pm. We'll do a warm-up jog on the MLK Bridge then begin our hill repeats. If you ret there late, just stay in front of Gateway and you can jump in with us when our recovery loop takes us be there.

Q: Why do we run hill repeats?
A: To develop leg strength, which is a necessary component for endurance athletes.

You should all run easy on Tuesday and come out to the track series start on Wednesday.  It's gotta be more fun than doing hill repeats downtown.    :-)

Manuel,

You are doing super outstanding in your speedy runs in all your races! You are stellar and strong!

Manuel, you had better come to the hills my friend, summer track was cancelled for tommorrow, cheers.

Wonderful Nigel, I hope you make it to the trails next week! It will be great to see you! You are sunshine and happiness!

I love this about the trails next week!!  I wonder where you are meeting for that? I would love to do this!

We will meet in the gravel parking area between Dogwood Dell and the dog park within Byrd Park.  See you next Tuesday!!!
