Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
This is the 6th year for the Summer Marathon Training group. This self-sufficient group focuses on racing a fall marathon. Members of this group are expected to participate with a positive and supportive mentality. Members will be expected to "own" at least one weekend run, which means they will be responsible for creating the route and ensuring that there are sufficient water/gatorade stops on the course. You pick where we run.
The majority of runners are typically 3:30 or faster. Runs will be held on Saturdays at 6:30am at various locations throughout RVA. We do not race our long training runs! Members should run their goal paces.
