Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
Hi Toshia
My name is Carrie Parker and I am volunteering with RRRC to help put a little more organization into our local group runs. I have pulled your information as the Midlothian Y Group run leader from the website.
It is fine to maintain your group as it is, however, I would also like to know if we could add it to the list of group runs around town (including in possibly another location on the RRRC website as well as in Miles and Minutes). If you are intersted, just let me know. To do so, I would request the following information: Group Name, Group Leader Contact, Contact info (email/phone whatever works for you), start location, day(s) your group run, time you run, typical kind of runs (long run, short run, speed work, hills, etc, and who you are interested in having join you- novice, intermediate- maybe suggest an average pace of the group).
I personally am approaching this process with two goals- make local runners aware of what is available to them, but also give runner folks traveling to Richmond and opportunity to meet a group in the area they are visiting to catch the miles they may otherwise miss due to travels. Please let me know if you have any questions. You can contact me directly via my email- c.parker@spi-bpo.com.
Thanks!
carrie
