As most of you know Baltimore Scott and I ran Boston on Monday..What was supposed to be a happy day turned out to be very sad...Boston is an incredible city and the Marathon should be call 'the friendliest' I was overwhelmed with how genuinely friendly and interested all I meet were from hotel staff, expo workers, resturant staff etc..just amazing..what an experience ..the senseless bombing is a sign of our times ,and we pray for Our Country,Boston and all those effected by it..anyone who wants to run this Sunday post here,I will not be there this weekend..Chuck

Thanks everyone for the wishes. I am glad that it is now over and I have my shiny new belt buckle with "Umstead 100 One Day Finisher"!

Best wishes to all you guys running Boston. Looks like you will have perfect running weather in the 50s. Have a great time at Boston. Happy Running!
