I just started back with this group, and everyone is quite fabulous!  As far as I'm aware, there are a few other women that join in on the various workouts.

I think that I just emailed you.  And yes, our program is hill repeats (builds quad strength) and track intervals (builds leg turnover, form, economy and turns the quad strength into speed).  This will make a notable difference in your running if all you've been doing is tempo runs.  The group is really friendly and all are welcomed.  Try it if you dare...  :)

Hello there! I have been running on and off for about a year now and I am ready to make it a life change. I just ran my second 10k but I really need to improve my time. I was wondering if this group will help accomplish that and if it is "women" friendly. Hope to hear from someone soon!

The rotation is MCV Hill Repeats, Speedwork @ St Christopher's, Trails (NorthBank & Buttermilk). This Tuesday is trails nite. We meet in the gravel parking area between Dogwood Dell and the dog park to begin running at 5:32pm. I send an email to the group distribution each Monday (sometimes Tuesday) as a reminder of that week's workout. I'll add you to the distribution if you send me your email address. You are welcomed to join us. We're a good crew of friendly people. Mark

Just wanted to thank everyone for the workouts over the past few months. I ran the ING Georgia Marathon this past weekend and the hill work was excellent training. The course was hilly but I ran a PR and my first ever Boston qualifier! Looking forward to running with y'all again soon.
