I would be interested in running with a group. I live off creighton road behind pebble creek. I was running with a group that started at Am. Fam. and we ran through pebble creek.

John,

That's not too far, but it's not within the immediate vicinity of me either. There is another group that used to meet at the Food Lion who call themselves the Grub Kitty Group(taken from Food Lion). I'm not sure of their meeting times, but that might be more convenient for you.

I am moving to the area and would like to joina group to train. I have a run a few marathons but I prefer the 10k to 10 mile distance. Where do you meet? I will be in the area around june. I think I am in the the Deer Run/Doe Run area near Atlee HS.

I'll throw this out there.

If anyone would like to join me, I'll be doing an 8 mile run Saturday morning. I have to go early because I have to to be to work at 8 in the West End.

I'll plan on leaving the Battlefield Green clubhouse at 5:30 am.

I'll be running about a 10:30/mile, primarily through Pebble Creek. If you see me running there, feel free to join me.

jEFF, i have tried to get this going a few times, and then I got out because of surgery.  Honestly, I give up completely... :(
When I run I just call some friends and go from there.  We just never seemed to agree on anything here, and when we did people didn't show up, except for once!! 

If anyone wants to take it over, you can try.  I am officially "giving up".

Is this group still active? When and where?

I'd love to get a group going, especially after Monument Ave 10k.

I'm planning for Carytown 10k in May. Who's in?

I love in Battlefield Green just east of the Kroger at 360 & Creighton.

Wow Maria you have picked up the pace dramatically since we last ran together...love it. Hope to run across you guys soon. I'll keep the schedules in mind too. :)
