Supporting running in the metro Richmond area
(Buttermilk Seven-hour Training Run)
If you’d like to come out for this training run, post a comment to this discussion or send a RRRC website friend request to me. Please include your email address as I will send out additional information to those participating as we get closer to the event.
I will be there for the long haul. Thanks to you and Doug for putting this together. My e-mail is email@example.com.
FYI - There will be a group of us running trails this Sat. starting at 6am from Dogwood Dell. Feel free to join us.
I think this is going to be a lot of fun. There are already 5 of us (confirmed) who plan to be there.
Definite thanks to Doug. I truly appreciate his input and help...especially with measuring the loops!
I'll be out on the trails on Saturday morning for 4 or 5 hours. Am hoping to start by 5:30am. I'm sure I'll cross paths with you at some point as I plan to do at least 30 miles if the heat doesn't bother me too much. I did 20 last night but the last 5 were rough. Either I had a bad day or haven't acclimated to the heat yet.
Sounds good. I'm sure we will cross paths. See you then.
I'll be in for the first couple of hours. Shoot me the details at firstname.lastname@example.org
The run is 3 weeks away. As of now, here is who I have attending:
Please let me know if I'm missing anyone. It would be great to know in advance of everyone who plans to come out for planning purposes and because I'll be sending out some additional info sometime this week.
Doug is planning on setting up some aid along the course. I'm focusing my efforts on the station at the Start/Finish area. I have a couple of tents that I'll bring for shade, a couple of coolers, etc.
I am a friend of Drew's and I plan on running many loops but not as many as you guys. So count me in and my email is email@example.com
BS Runners, I just sent out the first update for the run. If you're running and didn't get it, please let me know. I may have made a mistake on your email address.
For anyone thinking about running, there are 9 - 10 of us so far who plan to run. Come join us; it's going to be a fun training run!
Good luck tomorrow! I may join you after my group run -- if I can find you out on the trails somewhere!
Hope you can meet us! Base camp will be at the Reedy Creek Access parking lot...look for the tent. If you post your email address, I'll send all of the maps/details to you.
