Willis River 35K & 50K Trail Runs at Bear Creek Lake State Park, Cumberland VA

The 12th Annual RRRC Trail races formerly called the Swinging Bridge Trail Runs. The name was changed because the course changes no longer included the Swinging Bridge.The trial is designated a "wilderness trail" by the State Forest Department. It is challenging, not because of elevation, but because there are significant "blow downs" to run over, around and through. Thursdays at the Museum of Fine Arts

Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Tempo Run, Thursday @ 5:30PM.  This group has been going strong for over 30-years!  Varied and interesting routes north, south, east and west from the MFA.  Mostly roads; sometimes trails.  The run starts and finishes on SheppardStreet, between the MFA parking structure and Benedictine High School. Pace range: 7:00 to 9:45 minute miles.  The group of 10-20 runners go 3-miles to a water stop.  Some then turn back, while others go on for another 4-5 miles.  Friendly…See More
