I Love The Tavern Triathlon at Robious Landing Park

The 500meter swim will take place in the James River, basically a sudo trianglular course heading out against the current to the west, then back toward the shoreline, the last turn buoy will parallel the shore and exit at the stairs inside the trails, sprint up a few stairs, jog .1 miles back to transition. Komen Race for the Cure 5k at Brown’s Island

The Richmond Race for the Cure was started in 1998 by Jennifer Norvell Saunders, in memory of her mother, Joanne. Joanne lost her battle with breast cancer after a second reoccurrence of her disease. Dan, Wow! What an adventure you had on that "5K" on the Jersey Turnpike! So sorry that happened. You are amazing to have survived that challenge!
