You did great at the Patriot's Race today! That sounds like it was quite an adventure. Hope you are okay from the fall. Take care and wishing you the very best, Gregg! See you soon!
I ended up waking up early and my legs actually want to run despite being in heels for hours last night walking the runway, but we decided to go on a spontaneous day trip, so I'm packing and getting ready to head out. I may make one of the cul-de-sacs, probably not this Monday's, but maybe the 2nd or 3rd--not sure just yet. Take care, Gregg, and wishing you a great weekend and hope you had the best time at the run this morning!
Your students and school are very fortunate to have you! You are very outstanding!
This is so excellent you are running the Patriot's Run tomorrow! I ran last year, and Kevin, as you know, always does such a magnificent job with his races. Plus, trails are the best!
I was thinking of running it, but I am modeling at a runway fashion show at an art gallery until maybe 11 tonight in high heels! I may be sleeping in and resting my feet in the a.m.! :)
Good luck to you--you are going to do Great!! I can tell you have a wonderful joy about running!
Do you mean Christopher Warhman when you say Chris, and is "CC" crosscountry? If this is the same Chris, I nominated him for the VA Lottery's Teacher of the Year. He was exceptionally wonderful and kind to my son and taught the class about goodness, kindness, and treating everyone with respect and kindness. I think he mentioned to me once that his dad who is also a teacher there, is a track coach.
Gregg, you are doing fantastic in your phenomenal math and running! Wishing you a terrific 4th of July weekend! And Hello to Kevin for me if you see him! Sending all the positive karma and best your way! See you soon!
Also--just seconds ago saw this on AOL news! Loved that you talked about this the other day! It is amazing story!

Good luck in your fantastic running, Gregg! Hope to see you at an upcoming run very soon!
Hello! Hope you had a wonderful day today! This is very cool about you teaching math! I wonder which county do you teach? Do you know Cynthia Dante or Karen Deaver (Clover Hill High) or Pete Peterson (John Tyler, but also teachers at Clover Hill High)? My son has a type of autism where he really doesn't talk too much, but he is a math whiz and winner of many math awards. I homeschooled him and I love math, but I am not an expert in it, so he just started "real school" in 10th grade last year at Clover Hill where the wonderful teachers who know way more than I do, have been so fantastic to him. He loves it! He would really love to meet you at a run if you want! Math is the key to his soul and connection to the world.
I would read him math books and stories about mathematicians when I homeschooled, and he just loved it so much--it kind of took the autism and his communication opened up when it came to numbers. His favorite movie is "Nine". It's honestly not my favorite kind of movie, but he loved it so much, and I love him so much, I watched it twice, and now it grew on me. So your "9" did catch my eye immediately. In fact, I saw this before you posted, when it was on the friends listing of the website, and I did wonder if you are a math person!
Your students are the very luckiest to have you. I love what I can tell to be a true joy and love for math! You are awesome! It is so very fascinating! I wish I had smart brains like you!
I was on the math team in high school, but I turned out to be a television news reporter. Only while homeschooling, I had so much regret for not pursuing math more, and truly loved it when I realized it sparked my son's interest.
Hope to meet you in person one day at a run! You are truly stellar!
