I'm sad to say the racoon wasn't able to make it to the end of the day. The rangers came and, uh, that gun shot mid-race, it was for the sick little thing.

I've been thinking of more gentle alternatives to running also. Will have to see. I already have a nice bike so that is an option.

It sounds like you are doing really well. I started about a year ago and have distances down but not times. I'm very slow! I saw Jim's Monument time in the paper! He's really speedy. We are running the 3.5 miles at RBC again this year, are you doing it too? Will run for food.

No, we didn't meet at a race, rather at Laburnum Elementary School - Sandra Irby but going by Sangirl on here! Sangirl is what my grandfather called me when I was small.
