Thursdays at the Museum of Fine Arts

Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Tempo Run, Thursday @ 5:30PM.  This group has been going strong for over 30-years!  Varied and interesting routes north, south, east and west from the MFA.  Mostly roads; sometimes trails.  The run starts and finishes on SheppardStreet, between the MFA parking structure and Benedictine High School. Pace range: 7:00 to 9:45 minute miles.  The group of 10-20 runners go 3-miles to a water stop.  Some then turn back, while others go on for another 4-5 miles.  Friendly…See More

Joe: I went out for the hash run and it was fun. If you are afraid of getting into some deep woods and dealing with some brambles and such than one would not enjoy doing it. They were a fun group and the best was the beer stops...and the singing too. My temporary hashing name is snot rocket.

A new trail runner, Molly Hendler, was born on October 4. She is so ready for running that she actually wanted to come out feet first hence making recovery time longer for her mom due to the c section that had to be performed. I'm hoping to be running (more like shuffling) in 4-6 weeks now.

Joe, Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful day! I miss running with you! Joe, I saw on the ultrarunners group message board, they are running at Pocahontas Sunday the 15th at 6:30 a.m. meeting by the pool parking lot I believe. Info is on their group message board. Will you be there? It would be great to run with you! I think RunHappy Marianna will also be there and she is sunshine!

I was at VA Tech yesterday looking at schools for my son and thought of you and your fantastic daughter.

I've got to get tere in time next time so I can run with you and David!
Next Sunday I am running with the MTT even though I am not on it--just running part of the course since I'm not an official member, so I can talk with one of my friends who has been so fantastic and kind to my son. She works with kids with his situation.However, if you all are running Sat. or sometime in August, I will love to run with you and the trail group! Thank you for all you do to promote and bring joy to the trail runners!

Joe, You are the nicest. I wanted to say thank you for your kindness and caring. You have good sense and wonderful perspective. Are you going to be at the cul-de-sac runs? Have you been to Pocahontas recently? It would be great to run with you and Lin Newman sometime soon. I haven't seen her in a while. You are good people.
