Thanks for the note, Karen! We are all doing great . . . could always use some more sleep, but otherwise, no problems. Keziah's one month birthday was on Saturday. I can't believe it's already been a month! Next thing we know, she'll be getting her driver's license. I hope to eventually get out and run, but right now just getting out for a walk seems to be a big deal. I guess it's all in time. If you have any postpartum tips, please share. :)
Hey Karen. I haven't run out at PWF so this will be new. I'm joining Sara, Rod and Michael W where we will have two teams of two running the 6.5 mile loop for 12 hours so it will be a totally different training event for us. Funny that you're running the day before .... we'll be camping there that night if you want some refreshments before you go!
So sweet of you to think of me. I have been doing well. . . a lot of walking and stretches and pregnancy type exercises. I stay inside when it is hot and walk in the mornings. . . so all is well so far. How long did you continue running when you were pregnant with Nina? By the way, how have you been doing? Doing any upcoming races? I saw your pic on the secret site in a race. Not sure which one it was (I think Mike Laverty posted the pic), but you looked great.
I've been meaning to ask you how long into your pregnancy you ran? I've not been running lately . . . kind of concerned about the impact, but seems like light jogging might be okay. I've mostly just been walking and doing the elliptical.
