Hey Karl,

Thanks for the encouragement at the end of the race. I needed and greatly appreciate it.

Hello Karl, I’m sending this email to several running friends. Hope to hear from you.

Calling all runners.

Last year, me and four other runners made up a team and competed in the 12/24 hours of momentum race. We did the 12-hour race and ended up winning first place. I had some good fun runs, made new friends, and had an overall great time. This year, I’m looking to put together my own team for the same race. But this year I would like to do the 24 hours of Momentum. I need at least five runners, and can have no more than ten on a team.

I’m emailing you because I’m hoping you would be interested. I know you’re a real good runner and, even though winning isn’t important, I think you’d make a great asset to the team to help bring home a victory.

Information:
When it? The race is being held on Halloween weekend. The race starts at 12 noon, Saturday, October 31. And ends Sunday, 12 noon November 1.
Where? It’s being run in Goochland County at Camp Brady Saunders Boy Scout Camp. I’ve run here several times and it’s some good fun trails.
Cost? That’s the only down side of this race. It’s$75.00 a person. The good part is that EVERYTHING is included. Not only the race, but also a t-shirt, free camping, and food for the whole weekend. Also they feed us a big dinner Saturday night and then breakfast Sunday morning. This is on top of all the snacks, energy gels, and Accelerade that you need.

Like I said before, I had an awesome time last year. Camping out with some new found running friends was well worth the price. But the highlight of my whole experience was the last run at night. All by myself, running alone in the woods. It was so quite, and tranquil that I felt very much at peace. I’m looking forward to the whole weekend again and I hope you would consider sharing in this great experience.

The website and details are below. PLEASE let me know if you’re interested as soon as possible. I’m not able to do this without at least 5 runners. And I would love one of them to be you.

Thank you. Morgan Quinn
