Loaded Bones In Motion app onto my Blackberry today. It operates off the GPS feature and tracks me while I take my runs. Pretty cool. It overlays my track onto Google maps. Records average speed, speed of splits, elevation changes. This is sweet. I don't know how accurate it is but at the very least it gets 5 stars for the cool factor. Oh Ya, and it's my favorite price, FREE

I am in the process of putting together a 10 race series called the Commonwealth Cup to begin in  2012 and would like to feature one race per month of different distances and terrain types.  Would you like to consider the National Tail Day 5K as one of the featured races.  I would like to have a few that are a little outside the Richmond metro area.  Your race might be a great June offering.  I am working on corporate sponsorships and hope to have the race line-up in the next month or two.  If you would be interested in finding out more, please e-mail me at info@commonwealthtiming.net. The website is www.commonwealthtiming.net.  I will look forward to hearing from you.

I do not know the date for sure, but will find out and let you know. Next year my wife and I are going to try to put together a 5K to benefit Amelia Accademy boosters club. We really wanted to do it this year, but after talking to a few people that put on the Run For Hope 5K, we decided it would take more time to put on. Anyway, I will let ya know.

Well I crawled out of my sick bed this morning and ran the Southside YMCA Holiday Classic 5K. I only felt about 65-75%. Had to make sure I was on the outside of the pack so I could spit in the gudder what I was coughing up while I ran, but I supported the local race and had a good time. Finished 35 overall and 2nd in my age group. The 27:37 was alot slower than I had trained for but pretty I think for not running in almost a week and still coughing from this cold.

Keith,
Good morning! You are such a fantastic person and terrific runner! I just saw what you wrote about running in the a.m. and you are so right about that---it is the best way to have time for yourself and yet still have lots of family time. Also, it's so true what you said---I also get that yearning all day if I don't do a morning run. Morning runs are the best!! Wishing you continued joy and marvelous in your excellent running, Keith!
