Kevin, Marion Herring, who ran the Willis River 35k is a male. The results on the  website results, show him as a female, and first place place female. He was in fact the second place male.

I saw you this morning driving by!! I was writing a thank you card to deliver to Bill Lis! It was great to see you!

Are you going to run with the ultrarunners Sun. the 15th 6:30 (see ultrarunner message board)--they are doing 3 loops at Pocahontas I believe starting at the parking lot by the pool. I am going to probably do just one loop ( I think it's about 13 or 14 miles) or maybe just a part of one. They are going to do around 3. I believe Marianna, Chris Calfee, and others are going to be there.

Sorry to be the barer of bad news, but the 12/24 Hours of Momentum has been canceled. It seems there were some conflicts with the location. But I've been told that 2010 is already in the works.
