About Me
I'm a 27-year-old attorney that is currently in the process of moving from Hampton Roads to Richmond. I was born in Norfolk and raised in Virginia beach. In 2004, I graduated from James Madison University and earned a B.A. in Political Science, B.S. in Economics, and a Women's Studies minor. In 2007, I graduated from Michigan State University College of Law. After law school, I served as a Law Clerk for Virginia's Third Judicial Circuit Court (Portsmouth) and then as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney for the City of Portsmouth. I am now an Assistant Appellate Defender in downtown Richmond.
Alright, enough with the boring stuff. In addition to running races and meeting new people, I enjoy playing tennis and swimming. I also play the guitar and sing, and I love cooking (Filipino) food for my friends. On weekends, you can find me at an independently-owned coffee shop or under a tree (if weather permits) reading a book or writing in my journal.
I joined this group to train for upcoming races in early spring and meet some cool people in the metro Richmond area. Because of an injury that I sustained last year, I tend to run between an 8- and 10-minute mile pace depending upon the distance.
