The Richmond Race for the Cure was started in 1998 by Jennifer Norvell Saunders, in memory of her mother, Joanne. Joanne lost her battle with breast cancer after a second reoccurrence of her disease. The Dog Jog and 5K Run is an annual fundraiser for the Richmond SPCA, presented by Car Pool Car Wash & Detail.Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers.
