Hi Paul. I saw on one of your posts that you have a broken foot. I'm sorry to hear that and hope that you can be up and running again soon. Both Heather and I got derailed recently. Heather had a stress fracture in her hip that has stopped all running for the moment. She is hoping to be back in time to train for PH again. I was training for the Shamrock half and came down sick and was not able to run / work out for about a month. I just started running again this week. I have already signed up for the Richmond Marathon (full) in November and hope to do the PH half this summer. So we are not quiting, just took a little detour and are trying to get back on track again :)

Hang in there Paul. If you need any help, please feel free to call on me.

BTW - Bob and I are riding up to DC together. Thanks for the tip!

Hi Paul - Sorry to hear about your foot. I hope healing comes quickly. When do you plan to start running again?

Crash and I signed up for Vegas, including hotel at the Excalibur. We're flying out on Friday afternoon. Do you have any other fall plans?

Thanks for letting me know about Bob running National, I'm going to see if he wants to meet up. My training has been way off - I really struggled at the Colonial Half. I think it will be okay in DC, but I'm losing focus, and I'm more concerned with turning around in a week to do Knoxville. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for your words of encouragement, Paul! You PH coaches are the best -- still coaching, still encouraging! That pic of me was taken by someone from our PHT group and is me crossing the finish line at the Patrick Henry Half, so I like it too! I hope I see you this Saturday at the race. Best of luck to you!
