New Germany 5k & 10k at New Germany State Park

These races will be located in New Germany State Park in Garrett County, Maryland.  Enjoy some of the most scenic parks on the Mid-Atlantic while pushing yourself through one of our fantastic races! Ready for a race for an amazing cause?  Our two races benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!  How about a 10-Miler for LLS? or possibly just a 5k to show your support?  Well these are the best ones out there to take you on a scenic trip through the woods at Pohick Bay or possibly even down to the shoreline at Belmont Bay through the scenic paved trails at Mason Neck State Park with our 10-Miler.  No matter your running ability, remember, it's benefiting the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!!!See More

"My name is Donna Hoy and I signed up myself and my friend Erin Philpy were doing the UMW Invisiable Children Triathlon I put down swim times for us 30 min. Should be able to swim the 300m in 8 mins. and Erin's shirt size is a Med. not a small."

Race Upon the Occoquan 5k & 10k at Occoquan Regional Park

Tired of the same old 5k & 10k runs?  Well try these 2 races out!  You start out going up about 200 feet over the first 1.5 miles past the scenic Occoquan River and once you hit the halfway mark for the 5k course, you turn around and run down that once-challenging hill!  And for the 10k competitors, once you get back to the S/F line, you get to take on that challenging hill again to prove you've been training!  You'll enjoy racing against the clock, your friends, your family, or just your…See More

Invisible Children's Charity Triathlon at UMW at Anderson Center (Univ. of Mary Washington)

September 9, 2012 from 7am to 11am
Ever wanted to tri one?  Want to help a good cause and feel good about yourself?  Now is your chance!Come out and tri this evet on September 9, 2012 at the University of Mary Washington.  The triathlon course begins with a 300 meter swim, followed by a 3.7 mile bike ride, and finally a 1.2 mile run through the city of Fredericksburg, ending in the beautiful campus of UMW. Part of the proceeds fo to the UMW Chapter of Invisible Children.See More
