Hi Allan

Sarah here - I ran a few times with you last spring before Boston. Are you training at Dogwood Dell again? I have been out only a very few times due to conflict with indoor soccer and the snow chaos - I shall look for you the next time I am out although next weekend I am probably going to be at a soccer tournament - if it gets cancelled due to field conditions I will be there saturday for 20! hope you are doing well.

Sorry, I haven't checked messages in awhile. Snow has messed the schedule up, especially the last couple of weekends. Not sure about this weekend, as it depends on whether Amtrak runs north Friday (they cancelled their trains today). I'm supposed to be out of town. If they cancel, I'll run 20. Got 11 in last weekend, 7 weekend b4, and 17 before that. Weekday runs have been ok, but hard to run on a foot of snow! Glad you're back in for Boston. Hope to catch up with you on a weekend run. My schedule calls for 20 next weekend, so I'm game for something longer. I haven't looked at what RRRC is doing. Usually Boston or Shamrock has a long run each weekend.
Glad to hear you're running. I assume you're over all your injuries. It's been a rough week running wise, but you have to expect them every now and then. As they say, life happens.

Why does your name sound familiar? If you are the same guy, and I suspect you are, I recall you were quite the elite runner (and still probably are) back in my late high school / college years. I can remember at least one of my friends referring to you as "Sharrett". I'm inclined to say you ran for W&M, but maybe it was U of R. I would even go so far as to say the person that used to always refer to you that way was my high school track friend Ronnie Martin (U of R), but I can't remember if he was referring to you as a teammate at U of R or as an opponent. I went to W&M - graduated in 1974. Best wishes for a great 2009.
