So During my regular run yesterday, Tuesday July 12th, I was only intending to run 3-4 miles on the northbank trail, but I ended up finding a group from the Richmond Road Runners club! I asked directions, and they were extremely helpful, and even let me join them! We ran a loop around north bank, buttermilk, and belles isle.

 

The last mile was the toughest, but I somehow made it! It was somewhere between 5 and 7 miles, soooo much fun! and I am so sore today! I am so excited to…

A goodway to kicking off the 4th of July. Never heard of a 7.4K before but was definitely enjoyable. They did a nice job on set up and finish. The only thing I wish different was posting of scores by age group on site. Had to reach out to a few to find out website. getting old and couldnt remember even after asking for it at the race and them saying it 2-3times. Was a nice run on roads in and around Brandermill. Nice day and a good turn out.

Nice way to start the weekend on this one. Very Pro-Military with awards given to 1st place male and female military runners. Runner Bill was present and gave away a certificate for some free running shoes from his store. Everyone seemed to enjoy this one and was nice scenery. Will most likely attend again next year. Proceeds went to disabled military familiars. Worthy cause and one I support whole heartly.
