What stretching can I do on my own prior to my workout? What I have done in the past was work out and only stretch after I get sore and tight later. Stretching prior to my workout is what I need to do to increase mobility, performance and prevent injury.
It looks like I need a chart depicting each stretch, a exercise mat and a timer with an alarm that sounds every 20 seconds to keep me flowing from one stretch to the next. Keeping focused in a flow of progressing from start to finish will make this all seem much more enjoyable and help me not to become distracted and discouraged and lose all my motivation. When I don't know what to do next things take longer and eats into time I have committed to responsibilities and employers.
